Key Responsibilities:

​

• Prepare and clean surfaces.

• Remove drywall and debris from construction sites.

• Mix, pour, and spread materials.

• Handle transportation of construction materials.

• Clean and organize salvaged materials.

• Maintain and manage equipment such as ladders and hoses.

• Perform cleaning on multi-level commercial and residential sites.

• Operate industrial vacuums for debris removal.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.

• Knowledge of health and safety standards.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to multitask and prioritize.

DRYWALL FINISHER

For over 3  years, Bachan Ltd has served the Greater Vancouver area with a wide array of drywall services for various markets. We are currently hiring a full-time Drywall Finisher.

​

Key Responsibilities:

​

• Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing.

• Mix plaster to the desired consistency.

• Apply and smooth plaster using trowels and floats.

• Finish corners and angles, cure plastered surfaces.

• Install cornices and trim, and apply acoustic textures.

• Repair drywall panels and conceal imperfections.

Requirements:

​

• Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher.

• Familiarity with hand and power tools like mixers and measuring tapes.

• Knowledge of safety regulations.

• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

• Trade certification is beneficial but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

​

• Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for walls and ceilings.

• Secure sheets to studs and install metal corner beads.

• Prepare panels for finishing by cutting holes for fixtures.

• Ensure precise installation according to plans.

​

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Drywall Installer.

• Knowledge of hand and power tools such as screw guns and measuring devices.

• Understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Effective communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

• Trade certification is an asset but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage site activities and prioritize tasks.

• Interpret project drawings and ensure resource adequacy.

• Approve invoices and conduct site layout as needed.

• Attend site meetings, prepare QAQC reports, and ensure safety compliance.

Requirements:

• Experience as a construction foreman.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the trade.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Proficient with iPad/Android tablets for reading plans.

• Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities.
